Tallinn TV Tower opens on Easter weekend Bookmark and Share

Easter weekend welcomes the opening of Tallinn TV Tower on April 5.

Tallinn TV TowerThe renovated 1980s era television tower (Kloostrimetsa tee 52) opens its doors once again for visitors as a museum, restaurant and venue for different events; taking you up into the heavens and beneath the clouds.
Visitors start the tour, to the 314 metre tower, with a 3D film followed by interactive exhibition about Estonia's greatest achievements, a fascinating overview of the story of the tower. People then head up to the highest viewing platform and café in the country. A special panorama programme magnifies the view by a factor of ten. Visitors can record video greetings in the tower’s television studio and broadcast them globally.

Combined with the visit to the nearby Tallinn Botanical Garden this promises to be a full day out for the whole family.

The tower itself will play host to concerts, performances, exhibitions and open air events throughout the year. The landmark building offers three conference rooms each holding up to 100 delegates.

Visiting the TV Tower with Tallinn Card is free of charge.
