Style of the hotel and ambience
Situated in an area of Riga now full of novelty, vigor and above all of variety, although most of the buildings date from the early 20^th century.  Tourists will like to open their windows onto the view over the early 19^th century Church of Jesus, the tallest wooden building in Latvia. Almost as close is the Academy of Science, the most blatant stamp from the Soviet period, with its recently-opened tower now offering the best viewpoint over Riga. Business visitors will appreciate the easy access to so many of their likely contacts as we are close to the bridges across the Daugava River. New businesses are in fact opening all the time in the immediate vicinity of our building. Our size allows us to welcome both individuals and groups, whilst maintaining the ambience of a family-run hotel.

WI-FI is of course standard throughout the building, some rooms have baths and some showers, and all bathrooms have under-floor heating. Thick wooden shutters, rather than mere curtains, ensure that bright light is excluded from the bedrooms during the summer.

Travelers coming by car can not only reach the front door without problem but can also park in the surrounding streets. Those coming from the airport will not need a taxi as the airport bus stops just 400 metres away. Only a little further is the bus station offering travel throughout the Baltics and the railway station.

Conference room for up to 40 people, located on the first floor, is ideal for meetings and seminars. Coffee breaks, special lunches and dinners at Your service.

Restaurants
The ground floor "Hanza Pub", which accommodates 45 people, is good for a business lunch or just for coffee at the bar during daytime. Its informal pub atmosphere in the evening will help you to relax and to enjoy your meal after a long working day or when you return from an exhausting city tour. It also has an entrance from the street.

The interior of the first floor "Mercatore" restaurant with 40 seats is an ideal environment for a private party, or for a family celebration. It can also be used by seminar participants for coffee breaks and for lunches.

Fresh fruit, vegetables and green salads all bought in the nearby Central Market are our guarantee of healthy food served through the day from breakfast till night.
