Style of the hotel and ambience

Boutique - style hotel in the center of Riga Old Town. Accommodating at the Gutenbergs you are definitely being in Riga! Everything here – the paintings, engravings, antique fancy articles, old books in the guest rooms and the corridors – is like a story about the history of Riga. In the 1st floor's hall – beautiful copies of the famous Gutenberg Bible and the ancient times' printing engravings, books; in the 2nd floor's hall – landscapes from 17th century Latvia and Riga, and on the 3rd floor – original paintings of Latvian painters and a portrait-story about Latvian  intelligentsia.

Meeting facilities

The hotel has one conference room, it accommodates up to 100 persons. The conference room is situated on the fourth floor, it has a terrace and a view to the Dome Cathedral.  As the conference room is situated on the fourth floor, it is always light, although windows can be blinded at any time using window blinds. Hall has air-conditioning and acoustic equipment.

Restaurant

acoustic equipment There are 2 restaurants at the hotel. On the first floor - a romantic restaurant called Gutenbergs. Classic Latvian and Baltic - German dishes, wide variety of world drinks. Good wine selection. Restaurant plays silent music and has a pleasant, cozy athmosphere. On the 5th floor of the hotel Gutenbergs the only summer restaurant on a roof terrace in Riga is located that reaches hight above the roofs of the Old Riga. It is open from May to September and has a barbeque kitchen, a bar and live music.
