V Golf Club Opened at La Meridien Villon Hotel
Le Meridien Villon hotel in suburbs of Vilnius opened full 18 course golf club named V Golf Club.
Situated among the beautiful grounds adjacent to Le Méridien Vilnius, this magnificent 18 hole championship golf course has been constructed with U.S.G.A. specification greens, complimented with sand based fairways, and represents the only PGA design golf course in the Baltic States. Measuring 6377 meters (7015 yards) from the championship tees, this par 72 course offers a fair test to the beginner golfer, whilst still representing a challenge to the single figure handicapper through the choice of 4 sets of tees. Cutting through rolling hills and peat low lands this course is truly exceptional!
The golf course weaves its way among beautiful lakes taking the golfer through spectacular silver birch trees and majestic pine forests, interspersed with wild flower meadows. All of this rich nature was taken into consideration during the design process, with a number of strategically placed water features making it a demanding course for any golfer. The golf course is shaped to a world class standard and set in spectacular natural surroundings.

Cultural tours get great products with Pazaislis Festival
XIVth Pazaislis Festival started May 31st with Leonard Bernstain Mass performed by Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, Kaunas State Choir, Azuoliukas Boy Choir and soloists at Pazaislis Monastery. The festival name originates after the monastery which is one of the finest baroque masterpieces in Lithuania. The festival is the longest lasting classical music event in Lithuania and it be going on during all the Summer. Another feature of the Festival is multitude of locations - concerts will be performed at Pazaislis Monastery, Kaunas Philharmonic Hall, one of the oldest churches in Lithuania St. John the Baptist's Church in Zapyskis, and other places in and around Kaunas. There will be 31 concerts untill August 30th - the final gala concert.
